The Brief
From the R8 to the Huracan. Refining a Modern Supercar.
John is no stranger to the HG Performance team. His previous Audi R8 Spyder with a 6-speed manual transmission, which we built with an Öhlins TTX suspension system and ADV1 wheels, was one of the standout cars he entrusted to us.
When it was time to move on from the R8, the Lamborghini Huracan was the natural next step. With its advanced chassis, sophisticated drivetrain, performance-focused suspension, and unmistakable Italian design, the Huracan represented a significant evolution from the Gallardo.
Straight from the factory, the Huracan is already an exceptional supercar. Our goal was not to overcomplicate the formula, but to make carefully selected modifications that would complement Lamborghini’s original design while giving John’s car a more distinctive HG Performance character.
The vision was simple: lower, more purposeful, and unmistakably unique without losing the essence of the Huracan.
What We Did
The build focused on a carefully selected combination of HRE wheels, Novitec suspension upgrades, and custom exterior graphics.
We fitted the Huracan with a set of HRE Wheels Style 305M in Satin Bronze. The bronze finish creates a strong contrast against the car’s aggressive black exterior, adding visual depth while maintaining the sophisticated character expected from a Lamborghini.
To complement the new wheels and improve the overall stance, we installed Novitec Group lowering springs. The suspension upgrade lowers the Huracan and gives it a more planted, purposeful appearance while maintaining the performance-focused character of the chassis.
For the final exterior transformation, we once again partnered with KI Studios. Their KI Studios Lamborghini Huracan Stripe Kit introduced a carefully controlled splash of color to the otherwise menacing black exterior.
The stripe treatment was designed to complement the Huracan’s red brake calipers and red interior, creating a cohesive visual theme throughout the car without overwhelming its original styling.
Every modification was selected with the same philosophy: enhance rather than overpower the factory design.

The Result
The completed Lamborghini Huracan became a more distinctive and purposeful interpretation of Lamborghini’s modern V10 supercar.
The Satin Bronze HRE 305M wheels provide a striking contrast against the black exterior, while the Novitec lowering springs create a lower, more aggressive stance and enhance the car’s visual presence.
The KI Studios stripe kit brings the build together by introducing subtle color that ties directly into the red brake calipers and red interior. The result is a cohesive design rather than a collection of individual modifications.
The Huracan remains unmistakably Lamborghini, but the carefully chosen upgrades give it a stronger individual identity.
Subtle. Purposeful. Unmistakably unique.
That is the HG Performance approach to refining an already exceptional supercar.
