HG Performance installs Stage 1 CARB EO-approved ECU tunes for eligible vehicles. Availability depends on your vehicle’s year, make, model, and the specific tune approved for that application. Call or email us with your vehicle details to ask about available options.
Will a CARB EO-approved Stage 1 tune pass a California Smog Check?
A CARB Executive Order approves a specific tune for the vehicle applications listed in that order. California permits CARB-approved software configurations, but a tune alone does not guarantee that a vehicle will pass its Smog Check. The vehicle must also meet the other applicable inspection requirements. We can discuss whether an approved Stage 1 tune is available for your vehicle; we cannot guarantee a Smog Check result.
How do I know if a CARB-approved tune is available for my vehicle?
Send us your vehicle’s year, make, and model. Tune availability depends on whether a Stage 1 option has a CARB Executive Order covering your specific vehicle application. We install Stage 1 CARB EO-approved ECU tunes for eligible vehicles.
